Stanley H. Shrom, M.D. is an accomplished board-certified urologist, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is trained in providing state-of-the-art urological treatment and experienced in addressing a wide range of urological needs with all available treatment options for both male and female patients. Dr. Shrom treats enlarged prostate (BPH) and prostatitis, incontinence, impotence, kidney and bladder stones, prostate and bladder cancer, and urinary tract infections.

Dr. Shrom received his Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and his MD from Jefferson Medical College. He completed a surgical internship at Pennsylvania Hospital and his urology residency at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Shrom spent the first part of his career in urology teaching and publishing in the Philadelphia area while building a strong patient following. In 2009, after twenty-eight years of running his urology practice in Philadelphia, he moved his family to Florida, where he enjoys the milder weather, golf, and opera.

Rafael A. Quinones, M.D., FACS, graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in 1976. He obtained his medical degree in 1982 from the Medicine Faculty of Sevilla in Spain. He completed his internship at Dr. Victor Rincon Nunez Hospital in 1984. Dr. Quinones completed his surgery residency at the Ponce Regional Hospital in Ponce, Puerto Rico where he was Chief Resident from 1988 to 1989. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Fellow of the Southeastern Surgical Congress, American College of Surgeons, Puerto Rico College of Surgeons, International Society of Endovascular Surgeons, American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, LatinoAmerican Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Federation, Michigan College of Surgeons, and Laparoendoscopic Society of USA.

Dr. Quinones was an Associate Professor in surgery at the Ponce School of Medicine from 1989 – 2000. He was awarded the Best American Teacher Award in Surgery from 1998 to 2000 and was on the American Top Surgeons List from 2004 – 2009.

Dr. Quinones is da Vinci Robotics trained. He performs esophageal transoral fundoplication, all general skin and abdominal surgery, laparoscopic surgery including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, ventral and incisional hernia repair, colon, bowel and biopsies. Dr. Quinones also performs colorectal surgery, open varicose vein surgery and pediatric abdominal surgery.

Gustavo A. De Jesus Gomez, M.D. graduated magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 2002. Dr. De Jesus completed his general surgery internship/residency at the University District Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2008. He is fellowship trained in vascular and endovascular surgery from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.

Dr. De Jesus is board certified in surgery and vascular surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Vascular Surgery and has published scholarly articles in a number of scientific publications.

Dr. De Jesus’s areas of expertise include lower and upper extremity bypass surgery, lower and upper endovascular revascularization, open aortic and abdominal aortic aneurysm surgery, endovascular repair of abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysm, open mesenteric and renal revascularization, endovascular renal revascularization, carotid endarterectomy, carotid stenting, creation of A-V fistulas and grafts for dialysis, open and endovenous varicose vein surgery, arterial and venous thrombolysis, venous angioplasty and stenting, placement and removal of vena cava filters and assistance in chronic wound management.

Dr. Roxann Cook is a doctor of osteopathic medicine and is fully licensed by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. As an Osteopathic doctor she provides manual manipulation and treats the body as an integrated whole rather than treating one specific symptom.

Dr. Cook provides preventive and comprehensive care, including physical examinations, well-woman examinations, osteopathic manipulative treatment, diabetes management, and high blood pressure treatment.
